So what are the real names for Fem DJ of Kfm and House of DJs?
Born Kawuki Fred, Fem DJ is a Kampala based Disk Jokey (DJ) from the House Of DJs. Fem DJ is also KFM’s superstar Friday Deejay.
Fem DeeJay was born on 26th July and the lanky Ugandan music spinner attended Masaka Baptist Boarding Primary School.

The calm party creator describes himself as a versatile DJ who plays all genres of music and who can adapt and fit into the taste of different audiences.
In an interview for Sprite, Fem says he started out as a hostel DJ before breaking into the limelight. He has since performed in several countries including Rwanda where he opened up for Nigerian singer Burna Boy.
In 2019, Fred Kawuki aka Fem headlined the #TSIF – Thank Sprite Its Friday countrywide University DJ competition parties in 10 Universities in Uganda.
DJ Fem started Deejaying with the House Of DJs in 2000. He has since risen in ranks to become the Official Blankets & Wine DJ. Blankets and Wines is one of Kampala’s most attended Social events in Uganda. It attracts thousands of Kampala party goers.
He also helps upcoming DJs who want to mater their craft into serious entertainment business with lessons in DeeJaying.
Where Does Fem DJ Play – DJ
As of 2020, Fem Deejay plays at Sky Lounge, the Guvnor Dj Snapoff and Lit Lounge Bukoto. On Radio, Fem plays every Friday on KFM Kampala’s 6-10am Dmighty Breakfast with Brian Mulondo and Maritza.
He also occasionally features as a guest DJ on NTV Uganda with his #TheFemEffect.
On Tuesdays, he plays At Kush Lounge (Former Wink Bar) on a night code-named #DeluxeTuesdays With Fem Deejay.
Fem has previously been a DJ at Gabiro club also called Gabz Lounge Bar And Restaurant in Bugolobi Kampala, Club Vegas Mbarara and Mbarara based 91.2 Crooze Fm’s Saturday Night Live with the Riddim Selector.
