Isaac Kawooya was a Ugandan Politician from Mbarara, Nyamitanga, who served as a Resident District Commissioner in Yoweri Kaguta Museveni‘s Government.
At the time of his death on 26th April 2019, Kawooya was the District Resident District Commissioner of Koboko District in Northern Uganda.
Kawooya died after a head-on collision with his Toyota Primo carrying him and 5 other family members and a Tanzanian trailer at Mpambire in Mpigi district.
Isaac Kawooya was laid to rest with his other family members claimed by the accident in Nyamitanga, a suburb of Mbarara, Uganda.
According to the Uganda Police Isaac Kawooya died with 5 other including his driver Haji Muwonge Abudallah, Mukakamali Anasipasi female adult 66 years, Aharizira Christine 25 years resident of Mutojo Ntugamo district, Semanda Manusulu 55 years of Kakoba central Mbarara district, and a juvenile of 5 years who at the time of writing this article had not been identified.
